Ever since I was 14 I began falling in love with decks and up to now that love has never stopped growing. Now after 13 years of mixing I still have that same feeling and love for music. In 1993, when I was still a school boy, I used to spend my afternoons at the Otilar warehouse most well know by Barracao do Joao in Portugal practising and improving my skills. That place is a legend for lots of young students like me who used to meet there and organise parties for friends and start to get the feeling of having fans. From there a DJ company called CyberAgencyDJs was created and DJ LU was part of it.

We took a tour around various schools surrounding Lisbon and finally I had my first night in a club with one of the best DJ's ever called Jiggy. From then I played in various clubs in Lisbon eg Club Benzina, EstadoMaior, Diversos, Funky club, Pirata bar Alcantra Mar and much more.

In 2003 a big change in my life happened and I moved to England where the adoption of the new rhythms like R&B, Hip-hop, Rap, Ragga, Dancehall Garage and Basement was done in a flash and they started making it a part of my music collection. My first sessions started in private parties and later became in much more organized parties eg Bravo party. From then on I have played in various pubs throughout Greater Manchester eg Crompton Mule, Elements, Circa, Vogue, The Bar, The Baby Grand, Relish and Life Bar. This year with the new project PASSION EVENTS I hope to be involved in unique events throughout Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
